Moss Lake
Back to Trips Page
This bog is actually on a lake, instead of being near one like the bog at Mendon Ponds Park. So, this made the bog very squishy and you always felt like you'd get sucked in. There are some sundews and purple pitcher plants in this bog, though this time we went too early to see any sundews. Maybe in June. There was also a hord of bullheads in the lake, as well as some newts. In the forest surrounding the lake, we found some ground pines.
